HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Commissioners (now City Council) of the City of Atlantic City 8-31-1978 by Ord. No. 49-1978. (On July 1, 1982, the City of Atlantic City changed its form of government from a Board of Commissioners to a Mayor-Council in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40:69A-1 et seq. Therefore, all references to Board of Commissioners within this chapter have been changed to City Council.) Amendments noted where applicable.
