§ 4-75. Municipal Judge.

    Appointment; compensation. The Judge shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Council for a term of three years from the date of appointment and until his or her successor is appointed and qualified.
    B. 
    Qualifications. The Judge shall be an attorney at law of the state and a resident thereof, but need not be a resident of the City. He or she shall not practice law in the municipal courts of Atlantic County nor upon appeal from such courts. He or she shall be paid an annual salary fixed by ordinance, in lieu of any and all other fees.
