§ 44-2. Membership; compensation.

The Commission shall consist of seven members: three members to be appointed by the Mayor, two members to be appointed by City Council, and two resident members to be appointed by the Commission. The Mayor has full discretion to appoint a resident or nonresident to the Commission. City Council may, by a two-thirds vote of its full membership, appoint a nonresident to fill a position on the Commission. All members shall serve without compensation.
